This ones real handy for any kind of work that uses air hose. Its just a steel wheel cut in half, when put in front of a wheel it keeps the hose from getting caught up in the tire, very annoying when your in a hurry, and a real problem in a paint booth. This is what I have new guys make when I teach them how to cut with torches.the hose just glides through and never gets stuck in the tire

Of course theres lots of other uses for old wheels.if you cut the ends off a drive shaft and weld it to a wheel it makes a great stand for your bench grinder or abead roller
